Beach Hideaway offers rustic-style wooden villas, just a short 10-minute drive from Punakaiki. Each villa has a covered deck with built-in seating that offers panoramic views of the Tasman Sea.

Villa features:

  • Large covered timber deck with seating.
  • Amazing views overlooking the Tasman Sea.
  • Double glazed windows and doors with insect screens.
  • Fully equipped, self-contained kitchen and dining area.
  • Separate lounge area with LCD satellite TV (including sports channels), CD player and iPod docking station.
  • Bedroom has a TV.
  • Bathroom with walk-in shower, heated towel rail and hairdryer.
  • The villas are serviced with linen, towels and toiletries.

Villa size: 40 m²

Bed sizes: 1 king bed, 1 sofa bed and a rollaway bed can be added.  The king bed can be split into two singles for a small charge.

Beach Hideaway is 25km from Greymouth, (which has the closest supermarket and petrol station). Runanga is a 15-minute drive away

Perfect little hideaway. Loved it!

We stayed in two bed chalet. So peaceful and perfect place to stop and get over jet lag from UK flight. Probably one of the best places we stayed in our six week tour of NZ. Lovely beach within walking distance, pancake rocks awesome and great pub in nearby Barrytown.
